Newsweek (vice MSNBC) has broken the story that iTunes for Windows will be available in "mid-October" allowing Windows users to share in the iTunes Music Store. Amid all the RIAA file-sharing lawsuits, and increasing desire for legal options for online music purchase, it's nice to see that Apple's right there where the market demands that it be. [Update - Thanks to the readers who pointed out that this was Newsweek, not MSNBC]
